I know this product belongs in the marketplace because it offers an easy, flexible way to enhance your home. But there’s another piece to this effort that I want to share. A portion of our profits will go to a cause that is very dear to me. When I was a single mom, I found it difficult to provide my child with school supplies to start the year. And I know how important it is for children to be able to start the year feeling prepared and excited about getting back to school. So as my situation improved, I began providing new backpacks filled with school supplies to kids in Delaware shelters.

I chose this project years ago as a way to honor my amazing father-in-law, lost much too early. Bernie Brown taught for many years in the Philadelphia school system, and I intend to honor his memory by continuing to grow this project.
